In this session, adding the rose bush to the top cake and making some texture modifications.

I added procedural textures to the flowers, vines, grass, water, and whipped cream, including the wave node to add subtlety and variation. It turned out to be particularly useful for the cream to use the texture with a Normal Map to accentuate the irregularities.

For the surface of the cake, I reused the strawberry glaze texture from Poliigon previously used in Blender Guru’s donut tutorial.
