Stage two of the beginner’s tutorial from Omnis School focused on creating the setting and applying textures to all elements. First the light and the ball, then the environment. For these objects, I only used procedural textures, which were more than adequate for these cases.

For the decor, as recommended by the instructor, I went to Polyhaven to find HDRI and textures. In the tutorial, Andy’s room in Toy Story serves as the theme, a reference to Pixar, whose lamp is featured here as the emblem. I preferred to go for a mountain chalet atmosphere with a snowy exterior, so I had to add a window. I like it. Next step: animation.

Regarding TV series, I have almost finished the second season of Invasion and while I really like the lore surrounding the aliens and Mitsuki’s arc, the rest sometimes tends to annoy me because the story is so bloated with lazy interpersonal conflicts and unwelcome love triangles. It’s unfortunate.
There’s also some news that caught my attention: the release of the trailer for Lucky Luke on Disney+.
So, previous live adaptations of the lonesome cowboy have left quite an impression on me for their mediocrity, and this video doesn’t inspire much confidence at first glance, but I must note the presence of the excellent Billie Blain, whom I discovered last year in the equally excellent Cassandre by Hélène Merlin.

She also appeared in the excellent short film La confrontation by Marie Abbenanti or in Le Règne animal by Thomas Cailley, and seeing her in what is likely to be a fairly important role in this more substantial and risky production makes me a little curious.
