Another tutorial, a little later than expected, from the channel Lana Easteregg. It’s quite short, 45 minutes, and is really aimed at beginners, as the title suggests. So there are no shortcuts and no textures, or complex modifiers.
It gave me the opportunity to implement what I’d learned previously. Rather than placing the different elements manually, I used the Scatter on Surface modifier with weight painting and so on.
The practical resource provided by the tutorial is the Poly Haven website, which offers free, public domain HDRIs (HDR images) that can be freely reused.
